Pray
Seek God’s guidance, reflect, and clarify what matters.
Before setting goals, make space to listen. Prayer and quiet reflection help you name what you truly value and what you are being called toward.
The P3 Initiative helps you connect what you believe, what you hope for, and what you do each day, with compassion for the season you are in.
Founded by Dr. K. Michele Douglas, The P3 Initiative exists to help people live with purpose by bringing their faith, goals, and daily actions into alignment.
We promote mental health awareness, resilience, and purposeful living through prayer, intentional planning, and practical steps forward. Our work is education and personal development, offered with care and without pressure.
Progress is not a race. Rest, reflection, and changing a plan are not setbacks. They are part of growth.
And hard seasons are not a sign of weak faith. You are allowed to need support, time, and room to adjust.
Prayer and reflection are where direction begins.
Clear, manageable steps you can actually take this week.
Your needs, capacity, and circumstances count as much as your ambitions.
Each practice builds on the one before it, and you can return to any of them whenever you need to.
Seek God’s guidance, reflect, and clarify what matters.
Before setting goals, make space to listen. Prayer and quiet reflection help you name what you truly value and what you are being called toward.
Translate that direction into realistic goals and manageable steps.
Turn clarity into a plan that fits your real life: your time, your energy, and your season. Small and doable beats big and exhausting.
Take consistent action, adapt to challenges, and recognize progress.
Move forward steadily, adjust when life changes, and notice how far you have already come. Consistency matters more than intensity.
The model views body, soul, and spirit as interconnected parts of the whole person. Meaningful progress asks us to pay attention to our needs, capacity, and circumstances, alongside our ambitions.
When one part is stretched thin, the others feel it. Alignment means caring for all three as you move forward. See how it shapes executive coaching.
“Rest, reflection, and adjusting a plan are part of growth.”
A whole-person approach to executive coaching.
You can be successful and still feel stretched thin. You can know how to lead a team and still struggle to understand what you need.
Maybe you are working harder but feeling less fulfilled. Your patience is shorter. Your energy is lower. The work still matters, but something about the way you are carrying it no longer feels sustainable.
The answer is not always to push harder. Sometimes it is to pause, look beneath the pressure, and ask a different question:
What needs attention before I ask more of myself?
The Tripartite Alignment Model (TAM) is a framework for looking at the whole person behind the leadership role. It brings three connected areas of your life into the coaching conversation: body, soul, and spirit.
Instead of focusing only on performance, TAM invites you to explore how your well-being, inner life, and sense of purpose relate to the way you live and lead.
Your energy and capacity
What are you asking your body to carry?
We consider your energy, rest, recovery, and daily demands. The conversation is not simply about doing more. It is about recognizing your limits, identifying needed support, and considering a more sustainable pace.
Your thoughts, emotions, and relationships
Do you feel free to make meaningful choices, capable of meeting your responsibilities, and connected to people you trust?
We explore how you interpret challenges, respond to pressure, set boundaries, and relate to others. This creates space to examine patterns without turning them into judgments about your worth.
Your faith, values, and purpose
Does the way you are living reflect what matters most to you?
We make room for meaning, integrity, hope, and connection with God. Rooted in a Christian understanding of the whole person, TAM welcomes honest spiritual reflection while respecting your beliefs and boundaries.
You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. We begin with what you are noticing.
Perhaps you keep saying yes when you need space. Perhaps achievement no longer feels satisfying. Perhaps you are withdrawing, overworking, or finding it difficult to switch off.
Through guided reflection, we explore what may be contributing to the pattern, what needs support, and how you have been trying to cope. We consider your circumstances, too. Not every difficulty begins inside you. Workload, resources, relationships, and organizational expectations belong in the conversation.
Together, we work through a simple process:
That next step might involve a clearer boundary, a workload conversation, additional support, a skill you want to develop, or renewed attention to your values.
The goal is not to attach a label or promise a single explanation. It is to create a clearer starting point for action.
You do not have to feel calm all the time, have every answer, or keep every part of life perfectly balanced.
In this approach, alignment means paying attention to the whole person and making thoughtful choices about what needs care, support, or change.
You are more than what you produce. Your development should make room for the person doing the leading.
Explore what you are carrying, what matters to you, and whether this coaching approach fits your goals.
The Tripartite Alignment Model is a developing coaching framework that has not yet been empirically validated. It supports reflection, not clinical diagnosis. Coaching does not replace medical or mental health care.
